In the Junior School, we follow the Ghana JHS curriculum combined with the Cambridge curriculum in Years 7-9 (JHS 1-3 equivalent). Please note that GCIHS does not write BECE and as such students are not prepared for it.

International Certificate Exams
In the Senior School, students have the option of joining either the Cambridge Stream or the WASSCE Stream but not both.
Cambridge Stream – 4 years:
Cambridge Assessment International Education/CAIE GCE Ordinary Level (O-Level) (Arts & Science) in Years 10 and 11. Cambridge Assessment International Education /CAIE GCE Advanced Level (A-Level) (Arts & Science) in Years 12 and 13.
WASSCE Stream – 3 years:
West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination /WASSCE (Arts, Business & Science) in Years 10, 11 and 12.
